Summary:
On May 9, 1973, at 4:00 PM, the deceased body of 22-year-old Mark CARPENTER was located by a fisherman in the Elkhorn River. The location on the Elkhorn River was 690 feet north of the Sarpy County line, between present-day S 245th Street and S 255th Street. Autopsy revealed CARPENTER’s cause of death related to being struck by shotgun fire three times.
