Summary:
On December 16, 1973, DCSO deputies responded to a reported personal injury accident near N 82nd Street and State Street. When deputies contacted the occupied Oldsmobile, the deceased body of 29-year-old Francis “Frank” CROCKER, of Fort Calhoun, was located in the driver’s seat.

Circumstances of Offense:
The investigation revealed CROCKER succumbed to a shotgun wound to the head. Further evidence showed CROCKER was driving west on Interstate-680, before veering south down an embankment onto State Street.
Additional Details:
Glass from the windows of the Oldsmobile was located on the interstate. Shotgun slugs were collected from inside the vehicle.
