On November 3, 1975, just after noon, DCSO deputies responded to an area south of West Dodge Road at approximately 152nd Street. Employees of a grading service located the deceased remains of 55-year-old Jerry AGARD. Medical reports indicated AGARD’s cause of death was .22 caliber gunshot wounds to the head.

AGARD frequented the downtown Omaha area was positively identified as being inside “Flame Bar”, 1620 Harney Street, on November 2, 1975. AGARD was inside the establishments on three occasions November 2nd. An additional person identified AGARD as being at the Delmar Hotel, 213 S 24th Street, the evening of November 2nd.
