Vital Statistics
Circumstances of Offense:
Deborah "Debbie" Williamson (maiden name Agnew) was stabbed to death sometime between 8:30pm and 1am, the night of Sunday, August 24, 1975. She was stabbed 17 times in the carport attached to the home she shared with her husband. Debbie likely died on the floor of the carport as that's where the majority of blood was found. Her killer then dragged her body approximately 25 feet to the back step of her home. Her pants were pulled down and shirt was pulled up but there was no evidence of sexual assault. Debbie and her husband routinely used the back door to enter and exit their home. Debbie's husband was confirmed to be at work all night the night of the murder but was the one to discover her body at approximately 1:10am on Monday, August 25, 1975. Debbie's husband worked as a Manager at a nearby restaurant and was unable to leave the restaurant that night until after closing. Debbie's purse was taken from the scene and never recovered. Debbie was stabbed with a double-edged bayonet-style knife, possibly a knife issued to a military member.
