On 12/07/1980 husband returned home from work and discovered Libbie deceased. The incident occurred between 12:00 AM and 7:24 AM. An intensive investigation revealed several suspects however, this case remains unsolved.

Additional Details:

This case was later assumed to have been connected with a serial killer, Henry L. Lucas and Otis O'Toole who provided information regarding this case. This case was closed on 04/02/1985. Later it was found that Lucas had fabricated many confessions and this case was re-activated at some point.
