Theresa “Terri” Vernell Jones’ family doesn’t think that’s what happened to her, and over four decades later, they’re still looking for answers. The 17-year-old Alvin teenager and the car she intended to buy disappeared without a trace in 1980, somewhere sites say missing between May and September. Others say September 1980 as she was supposed to be driving to her sisters home in Houston to pick her up one day and never showed. Theresa's address was near 1800 block of Highway 6, Alvin, Texas.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
She was in a primer gray or green 1960s late model Chevy Impala or Nova at the time and that car was never found or recovered. She has never renewed her drivers license either. Driving from Alvin Texas approximately 31 miles and 45 minutes away to Houston Texas. She was going to give her little sister a ride home and never showed up.
Additional Details:
Car seems to be confirmed a green Chevy Chevelle possibly over a Nova or Impala. She was going to buy it from her sister-in-law but it was never confirmed purchased.
