Summary:
Terry Thompson disappeared while walking home from school in Flint, Michigan during the winter of 1980. His family has not seen or heard from him since that date. Although his case is not included on many online missing persons databases, he has never been found and sadly his case remains unsolved.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
Terry was last seen in Flint, Michigan on December 5th 1980. He left Holmes Junior High School at 3:00 pm to walk back to his family’s house located at 606 West Flint Park Boulevard. He never arrived home and was never seen or heard from again. Police suspected Terry was a runaway despite the fact that he had no prior history of running away from home. There was a report that relatives saw him on the east side of Flint on December 31st 1980 but this was never confirmed.
Additional Details:
While there’s no evidence of what exactly happened to Terry, some people feel he might’ve drowned in Flint Park Lake aka Devil’s Lake. The lake was on the path that Terry took to school and he was known to spend time there prior to his disappearance. There were reportedly footprints found leading towards the shore but none leading away. Devil’s Lake was notorious for drownings and some news articles state that footprints were found around a hole in the ice over the water. As a result, police and divers searched the water for Terry’s body but found nothing.
