On the morning of February 08, 1983 Dixie Barker disappeared from the trailer she shared with her son Eddie. That morning Eddie left for work after saying goodbye to his mother, however when he returned home later that day, their trailer was empty and Dixie Barker was gone. She has not been seen or heard from since. Authorities classify her case as 'Endangered Missing', and foul play is suspected.
Additional Details:
None of Dixie's neighbors saw her leave the trailer park (which housed around 60 homes) that day. Dixie's clothing, purse, money & all of her personal belongings were left behind. There was no indication whatsoever that she planned to leave for any amount of time.
