Charles 'Chuck' Fletcher Wacaser was murdered on December 23, 1983. He was in his robe eating hamburger helper from a skillet, and fell to the kitchen floor after being shot and stabbed, with the autopsy report showing he had some hamburger helper in his throat. He was 27 years old when he was murdered in his west Houston apartment off Threadneedle Street. The apartment was ransacked, with furniture upside down, cushions cut open, clothes thrown out of the closet, and the toilet broken.

The apartment complex no longer stands. The victim's father Emery Edwin Wacaser would call the Houston Police Department for many years, but eventually they told him: 'Listen, Mr. Wacaser, we'll call you if we ever find anything. You don't need to call us.' Chuck is remembered as 'A quiet man… always worth a smile.' Jeffrey Wacaser, Chuck's brother, was tasked with going through the ransacked apartment along with their father Emery. The case was featured on KPRC 2's "Solvable" series in February 2025, with the family continuing to seek justice. Jeffrey is my brother. I have always believed he stabbed Charles. Everything he says in this solveables interview is not true. Jeffrey didn't mention his sister or his mother. I found this by accident. I didn't know. This is Jeffrey confession. I have the death certificate. Charles was found on December 26th, not the 23rd. We all lived in Clio Michigan until Jeffrey moved to Texas in 1980. My two brothers did not get along at all. Charles moved there to work in the oil industry because Jeffrey convinced him the money was better. The only family that would have stabbed Charles is Jeffrey. The only person in the whole wide world that will say Charles died on the 23rd is the killer. Charles was decomposing. It's possible he died on the 23rd, no one ever speculated on an exact date. Charles had multiple non fatal cutting to his face. A defense wound to the right hand. Stabbed in his neck, chest, face, shot 2x also. Jeffrey said "I know" the autopsy report hamburger helper found in his throat. That's 100% false. Charles' esophagus was autolyzed. The only person that knows what his final meal was hours before he died in the killer. There were numerous particles found in his distended stomach. I have the autopsy report. I would never manipulate the facts and want the whole wide world to believe what's not true. This is Jeffrey controlling the story to fit his narrative. He hasn't done one thing in 43 years until after dad and Mom died. Dad can't dispute what Jeffrey says dad said, was told, did it didn't do. I know. Mom and Dad, myself, grandparents, did not call him Chuck. Jeffrey says Charles was found in his robe. That's 100% false also. He was found in blue jeans, red check shirt, green check shirt, and tennis shoes. Only the killer knows he was standing at the stove cooking hamburger helper and will say "I know" autopsy found it in his throat. All the investigator report says is he was found on the kitchen floor. Charles was found by Jody Faulkner at 12:20pm on December 26, 1983. Dad was at my house when the police called. Jeffrey said then he was at a Christmas party from the 23-26 and he found out from his roommate when he got home in the evening. I remember. Jeffrey pretends to be Mr Nice Guy in public. I'm not fooled. Everyone else is. The reporter didn't even verify any information that was spoon fed to him. Just because Jeffrey said so. Genesee township Michigan filed harassment and stalking changes in July of 2025. I didn't know anything about this interview. Jeffrey pled no contest on September 12th. He told the police officer on July 24,2025 "do you really think Michigan is going to charge me when I live in Texas" then hung up. He sent me a manila envelope from Houston Texas but used a different town. Arlington VA then the zip code for the Pentagon. I'm 64. He's 66. He declared war. A 4 page single spaced typed letter full of hate. I never know when he will become angry at me for not doing what he ordered me to. He becomes angry at me if I tell him no. I live in a community with security. I have letters he sent me after Charles died. Jeffrey was the only family questioned by the police. I'm sure he told them he was gone to a Christmas party too. He calls me stupid and other ugly, vulgar, cruel names even no one can hear him or read his letters. I can prove he used the USPS to commit fraud to get me to open a manila envelope a year ago. I looked at the postmark. Mailed from Texas. I googled the zip code. He told the judge when I tried to get a restraining order "I made it up" no he didn't. The zip code is real and 5 numbers. You can't make that up. He thinks the judge is stupid too. I didn't get the restraining order. He was told to not contact me. He used a different phone number, texted me, asked why I committed perjury and told the judge Charles died on the 26th. I didn't lie, the death certificate says found dead on December 26,1983. When Jeffrey makes false accusations he's guilty of what he's accusing someone else of. Jeffrey said he found something and took it to Dad and he said Dad told him it was a piece of your brother. Jeffrey mentioned the bathroom. Jeffrey doesn't know that Dad gave me the Polaroid picture he took off what Jeffrey "found." A butcher knife in the bathroom. Dad took it back to his motel room, took 2 pictures, then took it to the police station. He never mentioned there was a third person that day. Our step mother. One time. On TV and give false, dishonest, used deception that I'm the only one living that can prove it. Charles had a 68 Camero he bought in Texas, restored it. I have pictures of Jeffrey holding the hood up and he has zero mechanical abilities Jeffrey kept that and the motorcycle Charles owned. I have pictures. Jeffrey wrecked the motorcycle not long after he took possession of it. Jeffrey took possession of numerous of Charles personal items. The bottles of change, quarter, dimes, nickels. Jeffrey did cocaine, smoked weed, took acid. He would ask Charles to get him his drug of choice. Charles didn't jump at his orders either. Jeffrey has impulse control issues and when he's angry, he is liable to do anything. Just like the guy that interviewed him. No proof, no verify of anything. Just because he said so. Jeffrey had no tears. Jeffrey got supply for his narcissist appetite he craves from anyone he targets. I have a letter Jeffrey wrote me on May 15, 1984. 3 1/2 months after my dear brother was murdered. "Before I took my copy of the autopsy report to my safe deposit box" (Jeffrey could have shown the reporter his copy you see... He didn't. WTF?) Cont. "I thought I'd make you a copy in case no one else did. You'll never need it but you may just want it. Just in case Mom or Dad didn't let you read theirs, be prepared. It is a NASTY, GROSS, LITTLE STORY. It made me cry the first time I read it. It still makes me feel real bad to know Chuck met such a violent end. Yesterday, on a radio channel here (KNBQ93FM) once o month they have a psychic on their show. I do not believe in psychic s but I thought I'd try to get through. I did and she said she sees 2 men about 27yrs. old. One is tall and he did the STABBING. They won't be caught for this, but someday soon, they will be caught for something else and this murder will be brought out at that time. Strange-huh? Jody found the body and Jeffrey is the only family member, or person in the whole wide world that had a motive to kill Charles. I have the text I replied to Jeffrey in August of 2023 to contact him. The case has never been closed. They won't tell me what is in a box somewhere. I assume there's blood evidence. The autopsy found a bullet that was saved too. The kitchen had to be a blood bath. Shot and stabbed. Jeffrey knows. I know and can prove what I say. Jeffrey didn't have to prove anything, ever. He has a duty to correct a false story that is used to bring awareness to a cold case. December 23rd, days before the holidays. I can prove and did prove to the reporter what day Charles was found by his death certificate. Pronounced and found dead. 12.26.1983. Jeffrey DNA is on 23 and me and ancestry.com. He's made a public statement. Google 67th district Court in Genesee county mi. Jeffrey pled no contest to harassment and stalking. I'm the victim. He had his charges reduced to disorderly conduct after successfully completing probation from November 12th 2025 to February 10th 2026. 2025-25001214. 50 events. Conditional bond $500, fingerprints, no drugs or alcohol, not possess a firearm or purchase a fireman, license suspension. He had to pay $300 license suspension clearance fee, $425 criminal charges, $75 crime victim, $50 State costs. He's free and clear since he pretended to be Mr Nice Guy for 3 months. I don't trust him at all. I do have fear of him. If anything happens to me, my friends all know Jeffrey did it. I saw on the Internet Jeffrey volunteers at Tony's place to cook food for the needy in the LGBTQ community. I saw that today when I googled his name. Instagram. November 4, 2025 that was posted. He had his pretrial November 12,2025 pled no contest to lesser charges, put on probation for 3 months. I'll bet he didn't tell Tony's place he has harassed his sister and stalked her using the USPS. There's more too. Charles headstone. I went to the company because Mom and Dad told me to. Jeffrey was in charge of the money from Charles Bank and assets in Texas. Jeffrey didn't have what Charles had. I told them the date of death was 12.26.1983. Jeffrey called them to get the price. When the stone was delivered to the cemetery, the date of death was December 23. The autopsy wasn't released until April of 1984. I ordered the stone in January of 1984. I called the company and they told me your brother said you told us the wrong day. No I didn't. Jeffrey told me what proves he died on the 23rd is the headstone and obituary. I have the obituary also. It's not the 23rd. That says the 25th. The funeral home cards say the 24th. Nothing but the headstone and Jeffrey mouth says the 23rd. In the investigator report, Jody Faulkner, a 19 y/o white male was concerned for the decedent welfare when he hadn't seen the decedent since Monday evening, December 19, 1983 The decedent was found at 12:20 pm by Mr Faulkner. Jeffrey and Jody should then and now be the number one suspects. I can't understand why the police officers and homicide detectives didn't try harder. Or care enough about a man stabbed and shot inside his own apartment. 851 threadneedle. Apartment 807. Homicide. I wish I could read their notes. Not one of them asked me one question. Ever. That's wrong and neglected their duty to bring Justice to myself now. I've begged. I call and leave voicemails. I've talked to the homicide desk. They tell me they'll call me back. No they don't. I deserve to know what I don't know. I deserve to know if they've done anything with DNA. I deserve to be treated with respect and one phone call from the cold case squad isn't too much to ask. I have been to Texas and he refuses to take me to the HPD or Harris county. He does take me to the apartment where Chuck died. I always have believed he wants to return to the scene of the crime. The last time was in 2018. 2016 before that. I have pictures of Mom, my kids celebrating Christmas on Christmas Day 1983. No one knew days before the holidays. We tried to call Charles on Christmas Eve and Day. Jeffrey was gone he said to a Christmas party. He didn't call either. I remember vividly. My memories don't change. . There's simply no one else that would cut him in his face then cut his throat and stab him in his chest. Jeffrey had every intention on me never seeing that interview. His confession because he thinks he's smarter than everyone else. He found a "stupid" journalist. He's so "stupid" he has no interest in actually being a reliable and trustworthy source to correct a major deception he himself was a part of and continues to be associated with a fraudster. He is a joke to ask true crime programs. He's not putting true information to the public. I know exactly what day and I proved it to him. He needs to add a correction and state using evidence the facts to maybe help Jody Faulkner have the courage to step up and say what he knows happened the day he decided to go check on Charles. I have it in black and white had he chose to contact the sister that wasn't mentioned. He could have broke a story and forced Jeffrey to tell the truth and see what story he comes up with to explain why he didn't look at the autopsy report in his safe deposit box, or mention his sister told him a few months before Jeffrey contacted the program to contact the Cold case unit. He could have emailed me back and interviewed me too. He could have put the tip that Jeffrey called KKBQ 93 FM and talked to a psychic on May 14th, 1984. He could have tried to do some digging to see if that radio channel actually existed. He could have put that on the air and someone could have come forward. That's a good tip rather than days before Christmas and Jeffrey found a piece of his brother and had no idea what he was looking at and Dad did. Does anyone really believe that Dad said that? Why was a piece of Charles found many days after he died? Wouldn't it have been shriveled up and dried out from December 23rd to December 26th? Dad was there on the 27th. Charles had an autopsy the 27th. His body was released in a body bag and wooden crate to be flown back to Michigan with Dad on the 28th. He was buried in Woodlawn cemetery in Clio Michigan on the 31st. Facts. Jeffrey is sick. Jeffrey is a psycho. What was his intentions to all parties involved or not involved, (me) when he reached out to solveables and intentionally gave false information? He intentionally mislead the public and the police. Crime stoppers too. Jeffrey set the narrative by words only. Now.. His words are published as true. As a brother of the murder victim. He is given the power to automatically be believed and his words are fact. I tried to be given the same power to really solve a 43 year old cold case using his own testimony to the public, police, News station. I'm curious as to when Jeffrey reached out, to the news station.. What did he write in an email or did he call? There's new information from the only close relative that needs to be ruled out. He 100% needs to be asked pertinent information. He's awful nervous and thinks he is the smartest person in the room. He is being allowed to control a cold case that I've never stopped trying to get someone in the HPD to call me. I have all the paperwork, pictures, to prove he's lying for a reason. I'm the only person that triggers his anger. I'm willing to do anything to get him to answer questions he refuses to answer me. I have incriminating texts from him that will piss him off. An interview with the Cold case unit should be a priority. I have the full autopsy report. I have tried to FOIA information. Since the case was never closed, it's still open. I have waited for Jeffrey to show his sociopath tendencies to someone besides me. He's proven he believes he controls the Cold case investigation and doesn't want it to be solved. He's deceiving all people, just because he can. First the interview in February 2025, Then his interview November 2025, just one week before he pled no contest to harassment and stalking of his own sister, he's on the world wide web Instagram for cooking and feeding at at Tony's place for LGBTQ. In-between the Mr Nice Guy that everyone would say "I never thought he'd do anything like that" if they knew the truth what he's been allowed to keep hidden his actions to me. What possessed him to use that cup code while he's feeding and cooking for children? I opened a criminal case and sent everything to the USPS criminal division in Chicago Illinois. He didn't deserve to be shot and stabbed at 27. Charles had money, car, motorcycle, friends that loved to hang out with him just because of his gentle nature. Jeffrey wanted to hurt Charles and needed someone to help him while under the influence of cocaine. They probably partied with each other and waited for someone else to discover Charles. No one did. They had to figure out a reason for Jody Faulkner to discover him. They probably decided to leave 2 empty vials of cocaine near his body to make the police think it was drug related. Jeffery could very well be doing cocaine now. He was awful fidgety in that interview at the outdoor table. His leg is bouncing. His thoughts are not at all scattered with lies.He is flipping through one of his own books. The penguin gives it away. That's nothing to do with Charles. Another manipulation tactic. Charles paid for his own funeral too. Jeffrey was given control of paying Charles final expenses. That always bothered me that Jeffrey got his assets and was in control of his money and not Mom. Charles Christmas presents were unopened. Dad knew he died before the 25th. We all knew the day the headstone was delivered and it said the 23rd. Jeffrey tortures the living. Dad thought he was only shot at that moment. Dad knew it too only there was no proof and Jeffrey said he was at a party from the 23rd to the 26th. Dad can't speak for himself on that fact either. Neither can Katy. Neither can Mom. I can. The death certificate want released until January with a cause and manner of death. The autopsy wasn't released until April. The date of death was already set in stone by Jeffrey. I don't know why he was compelled to have the 23rd other than it was his "souvenir" I've had 43+years to reconcile Jeffrey more likely killed Charles. I never once told my children or parents what I felt in my gut. I've spent a lot of time learning about sociopath, psychopath, narcissist personality disorder, borderline personality disorder. He does insert the truth with his fictional story. That's what is so dangerous because he does tell a bit of the truth without realizing the one fact only he knows it's not supported on any documentation that he himself didn't dictate. Premeditated murder. He executed his plan and his brain knows what day he stabbed his brother to death and probably Jody Faulkner shot him from behind 2x. Jeffrey says he fell to the kitchen floor. That's true too. He was found on his kitchen floor and was stabbed in his neck, his chest, multiple cutting wounds of the face and a cutting wound of the right hand. Decomposing body. Early stages. His esophagus was autolyzed. Jeffrey said "I know the autopsy report", said he had hamburger helper in his throat. Nope. His kidneys, adrenals, spleen, lungs, liver heart, were autolyzed. His brain tissue was liquified. He also did he fell after being shot and stabbed. He shared a lot of knowledge and presents facts without once reading his autopsy report in his safe deposit box. Is it possible Chuck was killed before the 23rd?, no one has ever speculated or started as fact except for Jeffrey. The chief and assistant chief medical examiner did the autopsy and never once started as fact any day except for the day he was found dead. It's always bothered me that Jeffrey knows, he always told me, he never went on TV or talked to a cold case detective until after dad died. 42 years later. If Jeffrey knows such details without referring to the autopsy report, he must have certain details no one else knows imprinted in his memory. Charles probably was in his robe eating from a skillet when he got there to go with him to get cocaine. His brain remembers that detail no one else knows. It was cold out that year at the end of December. Dad remembered the pipes freezing at the motel. Dad didn't go stay at Jeffrey's apartment. They went they're separate ways. The person who called the police that found him and the brother of the victim. No one else had reason to do multiple cutting to his face. Some long too. 4". The knife was plunged into his sternum. His heart. He fell to the kitchen floor then put his right hand up 1 1l4 in length in his right hand. He was ambushed by 2 people that knew him very well for his to turn his back at the stove, probably in his robe before he got dressed and again after they got home. Jeffrey forgets what he was wearing when they attacked him. He remembers the robe. He remembers hamburger helper. He remembers the skillet. He" knows"the autopsy report said he had hamburger helper in his throat. I was a medic. The throat is the esophagus. The autopsy report doesn't say throat one time or hamburger helper. That's a detail only the killer remembers before they talked Charles into getting dressed and going to buy them drugs for the party Jeffrey was at from the 23rd to the 26th. It took time for the hamburger helper to digest and only remaining particles of ground beef in the decomposing stomach. There skillet is a detail he remembers. He knows how it was ransacked. I believe that was done by Jeffrey and Jody to manipulate the police into believing that people broke in and were looking for something. Drugs? There were 2 vials found next to his body. Charles didn't put them there. He fell after being shot and stabbed... Standing at the stove... Toxicology didn't find cocaine. Two small vials. Jeffrey sent into detail about what rooms, cushions being ripped apart. Hmmm. There wasn't a gun found. Jeffrey found a knife I have the picture of. I would like to see his face when he's given that picture he doesn't know exists. Jeffrey knows he didn't go to check on his brother Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or the day after Christmas when Jody Faulkner found him dead. No one really knows when his place was trashed as Jeffrey and Jody were the only two people there and saw him in his robe, eating hamburger helper. Jeffrey didn't see his body. Only Jody Faulkner. He must have told Jeffrey his body was in a robe? I have been curious to see what Jody remembers from that day. That had to burn into his brain. He found Charles phone to call the police. He stayed until the police arrived. He let himself into the apartment and walked to the kitchen. He wasn't scared there might be an intruder. What 19 y/o gay kid worries about a 27 y/o man? After a week? Jody was 19. Jeffrey was 24. Jeffrey said the psychic saw two men. About 27. One was tall and did the stabbing. Is Jeffrey taller than Jody? He's older. He's not short, he was taller than Charles. I have always believed that's a confession letter. May of 1983. Now there's a confession interview on February 2025. In 1983 Jeffery mentioned a Mexican stopped looking for Charles when him and Dad were going through his things. I remember. We know now that white people that are guilty claim they saw a black person or an immigrant. Mexicans are plenty in Texas. That made sense to me. Jeffrey and Jody were right under there nose. The investigator name is James Ebdon Case number 83-7643. And 7711723 for the HPD. Officer K.P. Myers unit 4F41 with the Houston police department didn't note his time of arrival. Ebdon arrived at 1:05. The ME at 1:40. The death certificate has an unknown hour of injury. Date of injury 12.26.83. Pronounced dead 12-26-83 found. This was issued on January 26, 1984. The headstone was already ordered. That would arrive with date of death 12.23.83. I don't understand why Jody Faulkner was concerned on the same day Jeffrey arrived home from his Christmas party he claimed in 1983 heattended 12.23 to 12.26. He said the police had been by his house earlier in the day and told his roommate his brother was dead because he wasn't home yet. The truth stays the truth. Jeffery truth is the 23rd and it's possible he died after midnight when the date changed at midnight to the 23rd. Jody won't instant message me back and say.. I didn't find a body on December 26,1983. He won't answer if he knew a Charles Wacaser. I've asked simple questions since dad gave me the investigator report. I ask once and that's it. I leave him alone until December of the next year. About 8 or 10 years now. I find in today's world to be very strange to ignore such an easy questions and just say no. I wouldn't message him again. If he was worried about his friends welfare after 7 days, I would want to help find who killed my friend. It's likely he watches the same news program. It's likely he's watched Jeffrey on TV or ran into him somewhere. What's he hiding? Guilt. Maybe Jeffrey has talked to him. Jeffrey didn't mention Jody or a girl or bloody pants or wine glasses and bottle or a Mexican that stopped.. Before or after he asked Dad what it was he found? That's cruel to anyone that watched that segment. He wanted to get a reaction and feed his ego. Why mention that and not the Mexican? The piece of his brother isn't going solve anything. I would be happy if he was took to the police station and confronted with the false information he i intentionally lied and had zero interest in solving his brother's murder. He intentionally deceived using the Internet to gain sympathy using the murder of his brother to his personal advantage. By deceiving the public and all watching as to the date his brother died knowing he easily could have provided truthful and honest information to inform all people of the facts of the case. His desire to to never see the case opened by any cold case detective to protect himself from being questioned in the future.
