Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Angela left her fiancé’s Wedgwood-area home just before midnight on December 10, 1984, to get an engagement ring resized. She stopped to buy gas at a 7-Eleven and vanished. Her locked car was discovered the next day on Loop 820 with a changed flat tire and a broken knife nearby. Her purse was found two months later in a creekbed near Hulen Mall. In August 1993, nearly a decade later, a bulldozer operator uncovered skeletal remains in southeast Tarrant County. Dental records confirmed they belonged to Angela. No suspects have been identified.

Additional Details:

Angela worked as a programmer at KEGL-AM radio and had just been promoted. She occasionally modeled and had connections to the Dallas Apparel Mart. She lived with her parents and was engaged at the time of her disappearance. Angela is one of several women with ties to modeling or fashion who vanished or were killed in southwest Fort Worth between 1983 and 1985. Like Cindy Heller, Lisa Griffin, Catherine Davis, and Mary Till, Angela’s case drew national attention. Despite public interest, community reward offers, and a multi-agency task force, her killer has never been identified.
