On November 14, 1986, James Hoskins was found murdered in his apartment by police officers after a neighbor reported a possible shooting that occurred the night before. The neighbors reported that on November 13 at approximately 9:45 PM, they felt a strong vibration come from the wall that their apartment shared with Mr. Hoskins' apartment. They then heard the sound of footsteps running away, but did not see anything suspicious when they looked outside.
