Summary:
Alvaro Alvarado is wanted for the triple homicide of his estranged wife, 24-year-old Amanda Orozco Lima; his sister-in-law, 26-year-old Gloria Orozco Lima; and his cousin, 25-year-old Otto Alvarado.

Circumstances of Offense:
Alvaro and Amanda moved to the same apartment complex where Otto lived. Alvaro had accused Amanda of having an affair with Otto. Authorities allege that Alvaro assaulted Amanda, but the charges would be dropped. Amanda fled to Los Angeles to live with her sister Gloria. Alvaro followed her there and continued to be abusive. Amanda had to flee with her children back to Portland and only told Gloria her new address. Authorities say that Alvaro tricked Gloria into telling him where Amanda was. Alvaro went to the Portland apartment where Amanda, Gloria and Otto were. After a confrontation, Alvaro allegedly shot all three of them to death. A friend of Otto’s was also shot but managed to escape. Amanda’s children had witnessed the triple homicide. The aftermath of the crime, including a dying Otto saying the name of his alleged killer was featured on an episode of COPS. Alvaro has ties to the following locations; Los Angeles, California; Glendale Heights, Illinois; Sinaloa, Mexico and his native country of Guatemala. As of this posting, Alvaro is on the FBI’s website as one of their featured fugitives (He is not on the 10 Most Wanted List.) The FBI created an age-progressed image of Alvaro in 2023.
