On December 21, 1990, a male, later identified as Vincente Villanueva, shot and killed 23-year-old outside 1150 Apple Lane on Elgin’s east side. The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Villanueva for First Degree Murder. His whereabouts are currently unknown. He may have fled to Mexico.
