Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Disappearance:

On July 11, 1992, Felicia left her mother's house around 6:00 p.m., driving a gray 1987 Nissan. She asked her daughter if she wanted to go to the beauty parlor with her, and her daughter said no, so she went alone. She apparently reached her destination in Birmingham. Witnesses reported seeing Felicia embroiled in a heated argument with an unidentified individual in the salon's parking lot. Their concern was significant enough to warrant a 911 call, but by the time law enforcement arrived, Felicia had already disappeared. The next day, Felicia's car was discovered abandoned and burned on Turner's Mill Road off Speedway Boulevard, an isolated area in Talladega County.

Additional Details:

Cochran was estranged from her husband at the time of her disappearance. She has three children. Brandi remembers her mom as being quiet and gentle and loving to read. A woman who had dreamed of a job involving travel, but who had instead accepted a job managing a Hardee's restaurant, so she could be present for her children. DNA is available. Her family believes they know who might be responsible, yet no charges have been filed. Black and Missing has helped the Martin Family set up a billboard in Riverside with Felicia's picture, some information and a tip line. The case has been covered in media including a 2022 episode of The Vanished Podcast and remains active as of 2024.
