Summary:

Nelson Arriaga is wanted for the homicide of 15-year-old Francisco Rivas. Francisco and his relatives went to see a movie which was also being viewed by another group of people, including Nelson. Francisco’s group left the theater but was followed by Nelson’s group, who mistakenly assumed they were rival gang members. Nelson and an accomplice chased after Francisco’s group and Nelson allegedly shot Francisco in the head, killing the teenager.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Nelson’s accomplice was convicted but Nelson fled after posting bail. Nelson most likely fled to either Mexico or his native country of El Salvador. As of this posting, Harris County’s court records database confirms that Nelson has an active murder warrant.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Nelson’s whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers Of Houston (to qualify for the potential reward) at 713-222-TIPS (8477). Nelson should be considered extremely dangerous. Please consider sharing this so that Francisco’s family can finally get justice and answers in their loved one’s case.
