Authorities allege that Marco and Gustavo kidnapped Rafael because he belonged to a rival gang. Rafael was taken to a park where he was allegedly beaten to death by the two suspects. As of this posting, Marco’s murder case in Los Angeles County’s court records database has no disposition, proceedings or changes to the custody/warrant status since 1997. This confirms that Marco is unfortunately still at large.
