Authorities say that Jose and Darren got into an argument during a drug deal. That is when Jose pulled out a gun and allegedly shot Darren to death. Jose fled in a vehicle which was found in Longview. As of this posting, Jose still has an active warrant, according to Washington’s Odyssey court records database.

Anyone with information on Jose’s whereabouts should contact the Kelso Police Department at 360-423-1270. Jose should be considered very dangerous. Please consider sharing this so that Darren’s family can get justice and answers in their loved one’s case. I have been reminded of the 30-year anniversary of Darren’s homicide and his family still wants justice. The fact that Darren was killed during a drug deal is not an excuse for his murder and the public should talk about his case in a respectful and compassionate way.
