Summary:

Adrian Medina-Gomez is wanted for the homicides of 39-year-old Miranda Kahle and 26-year-old Terra Kerstein, along with the assault of a third woman.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Authorities allege that Adrian beat Miranda to death inside a trailer. Miranda had fought for her life against her killer, but lost. Evidence at the scene, including a bloody handprint allowed for a warrant to be issued for Adrian’s arrest. Two days after Miranda was killed, her friend, Terra was strangled to death. Her naked body was found in a wooded lot. Adrian has not officially been charged in that case, but is considered the primary suspect. Additionally, Adrian is wanted for allegedly attacking another woman in March of 1997. By the time the warrant had been issued for Adrian’s arrest, he presumably had already returned to Mexico. Multiple Newspapers.com articles about this case described Adrian as a serial killer. Investigators believed that he would eventually return to the US under an alias for better-paying jobs, although it is just as likely that he is still in Mexico. As of this posting, Adrian still has a listed homicide warrant in Florida’s statewide warrants database (under the alias “Jose Medaza”)

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Adrian’s whereabouts should contact Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers (to be eligible for a potential reward) at 1.800-273-TIPS(8477). Adrian should be considered extremely dangerous. A 2010 news article accessed through Newslibrary mentioned that the Sheriff of Martin County at the time had spent the past 10 years trying to locate and arrest Adrian. I do believe that they did everything within their ability to try and resolve this case, but the investigative leads have been exhausted for a long time. I am posting this because I feel Adrian poses a major threat to public safety. Please consider sharing this so that the families of Miranda Kahle and Terra Kerstein can get justice and answers in their loved ones cases. (05/24/2026): I did an age progressed photo in Gemini Ai, showing what Adrian “might” look like today at 53-years-of-age.
