Summary:

Franco Schussold Gonzalez is wanted for the double homicides of 22-year old Joel Olivas and 30-year old Rick Ruiz.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Authorities say that Franco got into an argument with several men outside an apartment complex. That is when Franco allegedly shot Joel and Rick to death and shot and wounded a 17-year-old boy. Franco is wanted for two counts of attempted murder meaning either a fourth victim was shot and wounded or was shot at. Franco was believed to have fled to the Los Angeles area after the homicides. He had previously been arrested in the city of El Monte in 1994. A federal unlawful flight to avoid prosecution (UFAP) warrant was issued on January 27, 2003 along with state murder and attempted murder warrants on March 2, 2000. As of this posting, Franco’s murder and attempted murder case has a warrant flag in Las Vegas’s court records database. The UFAP case is also still active in PACER.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Franco’s whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers Of Nevada at (702) 385-5555. They would have more information on a potential reward amount. Franco should be considered extremely dangerous. Please consider sharing this so that the families of Joel and Rick can get justice and answers in their loved one’s cases.
