Vital Statistics
Circumstances of Offense:
In February 2001, investigators say Crumpler, a former band teacher at Lubbock-Cooper and Coronado High Schools, befriended at least three teenage boys. According to authorities, he provided them with alcohol and pornographic videos, masturbated in front of them, and allegedly performed oral sex on at least one juvenile. When police were alerted to the allegations, Crumpler disappeared.
Additional Details:
Investigators received information suggesting he could be hiding in Ohio or the East Coast, and in 2008 a multi-state media campaign was launched through Raycom Media sister stations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Ohio to publicize his image and seek information about his whereabouts. As of this posting, Crumpler’s cases in Lubbock County’s court records database are in open/inactive status with no events/hearings since 2001. This unfortunately confirms that he is still at large.
