Summary:

Eric Riters is wanted for three counts of DUI Manslaughter. Two of the victims were identified as 45-year-old Kenneth Monroe and 54-year-old Carolyn Mitchell, according to Newspapers.com archives.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Authorities allege that Eric was driving while intoxicated and crashed his car with a pickup truck. The angle at which the truck was hit pressed it against a power transformer. Kenneth and Carolyn were tragically killed instantly and a third victim died at some point after the crash. Eric and two other passengers were also injured. A warrant would be issued for Eric’s arrest in 2003. He was seen in 2019 and 2020 in Saint Augustine, Florida. I have also been advised that he has ties to Plano, Texas along with Livonia, Michigan and local Latvian communities. Based on this, Eric could be anywhere at this point. As of this posting, Eric’s DUI Manslaughter case in Orange County’s court records database is in Capias/Warrant status, confirming he is unfortunately still at large.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Eric’s whereabouts should contact Crimeline (to qualify for the potential reward) at 800-423-TIPS (8477). Eric should be considered extremely dangerous. Please consider sharing this so that there can be justice and answers in this horrific case.
