Summary:
Detective Tim Gaffney said authorities have issued a warrant for Jose Martin Sanchez, 39, on suspicion of first-degree murder in the Feb. 7 death of Louie J. Mikita, 34. Witnesses told police that Sanchez broke into an apartment at the Country Club Greens apartments, 350 W. 13th Place, shortly after 5:30 a.m. and got into a scuffle with Mikita. During the altercation, witnesses said Mikita was shot, killing him. Sanchez was later seen running away from his home in the 500 block.
