Burlington County Jane Doe‘s remains were discovered on October 26, 2004 in a wooded area off of Fellowship Road in Mount Laurel, Burlington County, New Jersey. She was estimated to be 25-35 years old at the time of her death. She was found wearing distinctive clothing including a leopard print scarf, Hilfiger jean shorts or skirt, white Nike youth sneakers size 5.5 and a black purse containing Kleenex pack and nail file.

Circumstances of Recovery:

Jane Doe’s remains were discovered by a work crew putting up a fence at a construction site near the intersection of Fellowship Road and Gaither Drive in Mount Laurel, NJ, close to the former Malibu Grand Prix at 501 Fellowship Road.

Additional Details:

The Ramapo College Investigative Genetic Genealogy Center (NJ) is currently working alongside law enforcement to try to help identify her and has recently released new information. Jane Doe's genetic relatives indicate she is likely of the TURKIC ethnic group, possibly from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, or another country in central Eurasia.
