Jose Umanzor Santos is wanted for the homicide of his common-law wife, 43-year-old Esther Tavira. Santos had been abusive towards Tavira and reportedly threatened to kill her a year earlier because she talked to another man. A year later, Santos was still angry that Tavira was apparently seeing another man. He allegedly shot her to death outside an apartment building.
