Summary:

Mario Lemus is wanted for the homicide of 52-year-old David Carl Franklin.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Authorities allege that Mario and an accomplice attacked and murdered David by beating and stomping on him. The attackers also allegedly called David (who was African-American) a racial slur. Los Angeles County’s court records database confirms that the accomplice, Oscar Gomez, was convicted and sentenced to life without parole. As of this posting, Mario’s murder case in Los Angeles County’s court records database has no disposition, proceedings/events and updates to the custody status since a warrant was issued for Mario’s arrest. This unfortunately confirms that Mario is still at large. Mario may have fled to Mexico.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Mario’s whereabouts should submit a tip to Los Angeles Regional Crime Stoppers. Their website is https://www.lacrimestoppers.org/how-it-works Please consider sharing this case so that David’s family can get justice and answers. Mario should be considered extremely dangerous.
