Summary:

Jennifer talked to her long distance boyfriend over the phone on Monday night and would have been going to work the following morning. On Tuesday, she did not show up for work. Her phone, keys, purse and car were missing from her condo at Mosaic at Millenia (gated community with a security guard). Jennifer's car (2004 black Chevy Malibu, 4dr) was found two days after her disappearance, approximately 1 mile from her condo. She has never been seen since that time.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Disappearance:

Jennifer's condo looked normal with the front door locked. There was makeup on the counter, the t-shirt she had worn to bed wagon the floor and parents reported the shower was still wet in the corners. Surveillance video around where Jennifer's car was discovered recorded an unknown suspect who has never been identified. Around noon on Tuesday, the suspect drove her car into the parking lot where it was found, sat in the car about 30 seconds and then walked away. The surveillance video took a photo every 3 seconds and kept the suspect's face obstructed.Items missing from Kesse’s residence include a Verizon cell phone (serial # 039-02071456), a Nextel cell phone (serial #00080850757310), an iPod (serial #cnh5323g6j), Kesse’s keys, Florida driver’s license, and purse.

Additional Details:

It is believed Jennifer got ready for work Tuesday morning and left her condo after taking a shower, getting dressed and going outside. Maintenance and construction workers in the area have been considered as possible suspects. A week before Jennifer went missing, "Chino" had done repairs in her condo. An anonymous tip during the first week of her disappearance and a former housekeeper at the condo complex believed "Chino" looked like the suspect in the surveillance video. In 2009, he was located in jail on statutory rape charges and interviewed. He passed a polygraph and said he didn't know what happened to her. The case was originally investigated by Orlando Police Department who was sued in 2018 by the family of Jennifer in order to get the case files from the investigation. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is leading the investigation now.
