Summary:
Gerardo "Jerry" Parraga, 19, was shot and killed steps from his Bronx home on November 25, 2006, after a 12-hour security shift in Manhattan. A promising young man enrolled in a Columbia University training program, he was robbed near his home after stopping at an ATM by at least two men who shot him once in the back. His cellphone and cash were taken. Police have no suspects. Jerry had no criminal record. He left behind a mother, sister, and dreams of becoming a computer programmer.
