On April 30, 2006, Ashley James ran away from a shelter called The Gemini House in Lakewood, Colorado. The Gemini House was located at 1629 Simms Street in Lakewood. Ashley was at the shelter because no one knows who or where her parents are. She had been living on the streets prior to staying at Gemini. She hasn't been seen since.
Additional Details:
The Gemini House is no longer in existence and has since closed. There has been speculation online that an unidentified deceased female known as Lavender Doe, found in Kilgore, Texas on October 29, 2006, could be Ashley Lee James, though this has not been confirmed. Since no one knows who Ashley's parents are, it is possible DNA is not in the system. There are also no photographs available of Ashley.
