On December 18, 2007, Heidi Cummings was found deceased in her home in the 3500 block of Cutter. The investigation revealed that she may have known her assailant,and allowed him or her into the residence. She was last seen alive on Dec. 18, 2007 at 7:30 am when she made a lunch for her son, Luciano Ramirez. In the afternoon, her other son was concerned when he was unable to get ahold of her so he went to the house. The son placed a 911 call to authorities after finding his mother in a bedroom
