Circumstances of Offense:

Authorities say that Jonathan broke into a residence where his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend, David Manriquez were residing. David tried to hide in a closet, but Jonathan found him and allegedly shot David to death. Jonathan is believed to have severely cut one of his arms during the struggle with David. An additional charge of attempted murder indicates that Jonathan also allegedly shot or shot at another occupant in the residence. This would have most likely been his ex-girlfriend although that was not publicly confirmed. Authorities would soon receive an anonymous tip that Jonathan fled to Redondo Beach, California to hide out with relatives. Warrants for murder, attempted murder and burglary as well as an Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution (UFAP) charge from the FBI would be issued. As of this posting, Jonathan’s murder case in Las Vegas’s court records database has a warrant flag. The federal UFAP case in PACER is also still active. This unfortunately confirms that Jonathan is still a fugitive.
