Circumstances of Offense:
Jan. 4, 2008, Anthony Curtis was shot to death in his residence, located at 842 Channing Road. Curtis was 23 years old at the time of his death. Just prior to his death, a friend of Anthony’s named Jay intercepted a shipment of approximately 100 pounds of marijuana that was delivered to the wrong address. The friend told Anthony about this and used Anthony’s house as a place to store the shipment. It is not known if the owner of the marijuana knew where Anthony lived and was involved in his murder.
