Linda, 47, was killed in the late evening hours of Tuesday, April 29 or early morning hours of Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Her last known proof of life was around 6p April 29. Linda was attacked inside her two-bedroom rental home on Sidney Ave. in Port Orchard, WA. She was stabbed 24 times and her house was set on fire afterwards. She suffered many defensive wounds to her hands and arms and several stab wounds to the front and back of her torso. It was determined she was deceased by the time the fire was started. Her toxicology was clear and showed no presence of alcohol or drugs. Her body was found in her master bedroom on the floor next to her waterbed. There was no indication of a robbery, but robbery could not be ruled out as a motive. Linda lived alone in her rental home and had never been married or had children. She did not have a significant other at the time of her death. She had been working as a paralegal in the Port Orchard area.
