Summary:

Francisco Javier Rodriguez is wanted for the homicide of his neighbour, 30-year-old Jose Dejesus Chavez.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Authorities allege that Francisco used his vehicle to intentionally run over Jose. Francisco then allegedly backed up his vehicle and ran over Jose a second time. Jose tragically later died from injuries. The motive was that Francisco “thought” that his wife was having an affair with Jose. Francisco then allegedly abducted his wife and their 18-month-old child. Both of them were safely recovered. As of this posting, Francisco’s murder case in Los Angeles County’s court records database has no disposition, proceedings or changes to the custody status since the warrant was issued. This confirms that he is still at large. Francisco is believed to have fled to Mexico.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Francisco’s whereabouts should visit https://www.lacrimestoppers.org/how-it-works to submit an anonymous tip to Los Angeles Regional Crime Stoppers. Francisco should be considered very dangerous. Please consider sharing this case so that Jose’s family can get justice and answers in their loved one’s. Even if the affair allegations were true, that is not an excuse for Francisco to allegedly take Jose’s life.
