The Victim was last seen at her residence while her brother visited. The Victim told him she would visit him the next day. She went missing and her remains were found in a field. This incident is considered an unsolved homicide.

On 9-12-09 at 8:30 PM the Victim (Tovar, Juanita) was visited by the Witness (her brother Tovar, Juan) who dropped off cigarettes at her residence (2131 E 9th St. Stockton, CA 95206). V-Tovar told W-Tovar she would visit him at his residence the next day. She never showed and was declared missing. On 9-20-09 her remains were found in the Mosher Slough area (South Pilgrim Street & East Anderson Street Stockton, CA). She had been strangled to death and the case became a homicide.
