On 9-12-09 at 8:30 PM the Victim (Tovar, Juanita) was visited by the Witness (her brother Tovar, Juan) who dropped off cigarettes at her residence (2131 E 9th St. Stockton, CA 95206). V-Tovar told W-Tovar she would visit him at his residence the next day. She never showed and was declared missing. On 9-20-09 her remains were found in the Mosher Slough area (South Pilgrim Street & East Anderson Street Stockton, CA). She had been strangled to death and the case became a homicide.
