Summary:
Carlos Meza was getting into his black 2003 Hummer H2 in the Rite Aid parking lot at Amethyst and Bear Valley in the City of Victorville. Meza was approached by an unknown suspect and was shot to death. He had just been to dinner with his girlfriend

Circumstances of Offense:
Witnesses reported seeing a blue Ford Escort wagon leaving the area soon after the shots were fired. They also described the shooter as a Hispanic man in his 30s or 40s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing all black clothing at the time of the shooting. Witnesses described seeing the shooter getting into the passenger side of a vehicle similar to a Ford Escort wagon.
