Summary:

Obed Cruz-Mena is wanted for the homicide of his wife, 23-year-old Ashley Sircy, a mother-of-four.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

At the time of the homicide, Obed and Ashley were going through a divorce. Obed was overheard while at his job, having an argument over the phone. It is believed that the person on the other line was Ashley. Obed went to his residence after telling his boss that he needed to fix a problem. It is alleged that Obed strangled Ashley to death and then called his brothers, saying “that he had done something really bad” and then hung up. Obed never showed up back to work and his vehicle was later found in Laredo, Texas. He is most likely hiding in Mexico. A federal Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution (UFAP) was issued for Obed’s arrest in 2016. As of this posting, Obed is still on the Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation’s Most Wanted list. The UFAP warrant is also still active.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Obed’s whereabouts should contact the Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation at 1 (800) TBI-FIND. Obed should be considered very dangerous. Please consider sharing this so that Ashley’s family can get justice and answers in their loved one’s case.
