Okanogan County, Washington

Summary:

Javier Cardenas-Ramirez is wanted for the homicide of 34-year old Jose Campos-Padilla.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

Jose was at his residence with his children when Javier knocked at the door. Javier came in and criticized Jose for some type of contact that Jose reportedly had with Javier’s wife. Javier pulled out a gun which Jose pushed away. That is when Javier grabbed Jose and pulled him towards his gun before allegedly shooting Jose several times in the head and back. Tragically, the incident was witnessed by Jose’s two children, especially his seven-year-old daughter. Javier then fled and his wife told investigators that she believed that he would flee the country. Javier had previously been charged with assault in a domestic violence incident and there had been a no-contact order. As of this posting, Javier has an active warrant, according to Washington’s Odyssey court records database. The warrant has been validated every year by the sheriff’s department since 2018.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Javier’s whereabouts should contact the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Department at 509-422-7200. Javier should be considered very dangerous. Please consider sharing this, so that Jose’s family, especially his children, can get justice and answers in their loved one’s case.
