Authorities say that Edgar was driven to an apartment complex where he got out of a vehicle and approached a group of men whom Edgar swore at. Edgar then allegedly shot at the group of men, shooting and wounding four of them and shooting and grazing the boot of a fifth victim. The victims were extremely fortunate that their gunshot wounds were not life-threatening. The investigation determined that Edgar (aka. Gavino) was the suspected shooter. The motive might have been related to a fight at a bar earlier that night. As of this posting, Edgar has an active warrant in Florida’s statewide warrants database, confirming he is unfortunately still at large.
