On Sunday, February 7, 2010, Christian Michael Stasenka was employed as a caregiver at a local group home in Tempe, AZ. Stasenka was found to have committed sexual assault against one of the group home's mentally handicapped clients. Upon learning of the potential charges against him, Stasenka subsequently fled the state of Arizona and has not been located since.

There is currently a valid Maricopa County Superior Court felony warrant for sexual assault with nationwide extradition issued for Stasenka's arrest. New York State reported that Stasenka may now be living in the Empire State. Phoenix police renewed a long-dormant investigation and called on the public to help track down the suspect in the sexual-assault case that went cold, with detectives publicly identifying Christian Stasenka as the man they are seeking and saying he reportedly fled the country.
