Luis was coming home to let his mother know that he had become the captain of his school’s basketball team. Luis was also excited for the birth of his new sibling and wanted to become a police officer. As Luis was heading home, he got into a dispute with Roman. Luis tried to walk away but Roman allegedly stabbed Luis to death.

Anyone with information on Roman’s whereabouts should contact Capital Area Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477. As of this posting, Travis County’s court records database confirms that Roman has an active warrant. Roman is believed to have fled to Mexico and his family is from the state of Michoacan.
