Circumstances of Offense:
Jose was working at a bar when several men got into an altercation. Jose escorted the men outside which is when Eric allegedly shot Jose to death. As of this posting, Eric’s murder case in the CoCourts database is currently in open status. The only proceeding after the warrant was issued in January 2011 was a 2015 minute order. Events in 2015 and earlier this year show that the case status has been continued by parties (meaning the case is ongoing and can move forward). All of this unfortunately confirms that Eric is still at large and is not in custody.
