Summary:

Divis Garcia Ordonez is wanted for the double homicides of 31-year-old Manuel Ponce and 23-year-old Elvin Gutierrez-Reyes. The victims were waiting at an apartment complex for the suspects to return a lost phone. That is when Divis and an accomplice allegedly shot Manuel and Elvin to death. The accomplice was arrested according to public court records, but Divis is believed to have fled to his native country of Honduras.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

As of this posting, Harris County’s court records database confirms that Divis has active homicide warrants and is not in custody. For years, Honduras has been unwilling to arrest and extradite fugitive homicide suspects, but has been willing to extradite terrorism and drug trafficking fugitives. Recent developments however show that Honduras and the U.S. may have finally reached an agreement with regard to arresting fugitive homicide suspects.

Additional Details:

Anyone with information on Divis’s whereabouts should contact Crime Stoppers Of Houston (to qualify for the potential reward) at 713-222-TIPS (8477). Divis should be considered extremely dangerous. Please consider sharing this so that Manuel and Elvin’s families can get justice and answers in their loved ones cases.
