Summary:

Jose Angel Tellez is wanted for assaulting his three-month-old baby. Authorities allege he slapped the baby when the baby was crying. The baby continued to cry and Tellez allegedly punched the baby’s head with a closed fist, causing a fractured skull and major head trauma. Doctors said they did not think the baby was going to survive, but the baby recovered. Tellez presumably fled to Mexico before a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Vital Statistics

Circumstances of Offense:

As of this posting, Travis County’s court records database unfortunately confirms that Tellez has an active injury to a child warrant. Please consider sharing this horrible case so that there can be justice and accountability.
