Summary:
Brandin Princole was only 17 years old when he was killed in broad daylight in Omaha, Nebraska on October 12th, 2012. He was traveling on foot along 46th and Larimore Avenue when a vehicle pulled up and the occupants began firing several shots, striking him with gunfire before driving away from the scene. There is a monetary reward of up to $25,000 for information that could help solve his murder. The case remains unsolved.

Circumstances of Offense:
On Friday, October 12, 2012, Brandin was walking to his friend's house in the area of 46th and Larimore Avenue. A vehicle pulled up next to Brandin and the occupants started shooting at him. Omaha Police Officers were dispatched to the area in reference to a shooting at 2:40 p.m. Brandin was hit by gunfire and transported to a local hospital with CPR in progress and died from his injuries.
Additional Details:
Approximately a month before the shooting, Brandin was expelled from his local high school after bringing a handgun on school property. He was also arrested at the time of the incident and charged with possession of a firearm on school grounds. Brandin was released on bail after his arrest and was also transferred to an alternative school in Omaha. Although it had only been a few weeks since the incident, it appeared that Brandin had stayed out of trouble since his expulsion.
