On Friday, October 19, 2012 at 2:31 p.m., officers with the Omaha Police Department were dispatched to 1826 Manderson Street in reference to a "nature unknown" call. Officers arriving on scene located James inside of his residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced James deceased at the scene.
