Authorities say that Wilberto was walking with his friends in a park in broad daylight. That is when Jose allegedly attacked Wilberto, slashing his throat and killing the teenager. A motive for the killing was never publicized, except that it did not appear to be random. Jose’s murder case in Pennsylvania’s court records database currently has no disposition, arrest date and also no docket entries since 2013. (There was another case that was closed and transferred to the current one which is inactive.) This confirms that he is unfortunately still at large. Jose is believed to have fled to Mexico and is originally from the border city of Matamoros.
