Macin Smith a teen with a speech impediment and typical issues of social media/anime addiction goes missing Sept. 1, 2015 from St. George, Utah. Several supposed sightings of Macin are made from the day he disappeared and more sightings reported over the months and years with zero confirmations. The last hopeful sightings of Macin are in the Sacramento, California area from 2022-2024, seemingly homeless and asking form money. NOTHING CONCRETE has emerged from alleged spottings.

Circumstances of Disappearance:
Macin had an argument with his dad for being up late watching Anime because he had school early the next morning. It is supposed that Macin wiped his laptop clean around this time. Macin's parents heard him up the next morning, grabbing a snack? Then they heard the garage door open and close--a usual detail of Macin's routine. Macin never gets on the bus nor does he go to school that day. Once it is discovered he never went to school, the authorities are contacted an informed. After a couple days with no luck, a "good-bye" letter from Macin is found tucked away in a backpack. Around this same time, a private investigator discovers that each of the known details surrounding Macin's disappearance follows a WikiHow article about How to Runaway and Not Get Caught almost word for word.

Speculation against Macin's father sparks investigation, but no evidence--circumstantial or otherwise has ever been found. Latest rumors of Macin Sightings between 2022-2024 place him several times in the Sacramento area, all within a small, one-mile diameter location. Because Macin's 18th and 21st birthdays have come and gone, most feel that he is actively avoiding contact with family and friends. Few disappearances have generated such a massive search, locally and beyond. Hundreds of volunteers have covered surrounding areas and deserts....many, MANY times.
