Eric Armando Ferrer is wanted for the double homicides of 28-year old Adrian Anaya and 27-year old Angelica Herrera.

Circumstances of Offense:
Authorities say that a woman got upset with Adrian after claiming he had “harassed” her. Eric got involved and had an argument with Adrian and Angelica. Eric then allegedly shot both Adrian and Angelica to death. Eric reportedly had a long and violent criminal history prior to the double homicide. As of this posting, Eric has an active murder warrant in Bernalillo County’s warrants database. New Mexico’s court records database also shows no disposition and only one docket entry after 2017 (substitution of counsel for the state). This confirms that Eric is still at large. Eric was born in New Mexico but is believed to have fled to Mexico. In October of 2024, it was reported that a Bernalillo County firefighter was fired because Eric provided the alias of the firefighter to law enforcement nearly two decades earlier. That stayed on the firefighter’s record which led to a lawsuit related to the firing.
