Summary:
Francisco Contreras is wanted for the homicides of the mother of his child, 37-year-old Maria Cobral, and her new boyfriend, 43-year-old Ignacio Contreras. Francisco and Ignacio are not related.

Circumstances of Offense:
Authorities allege that Francisco shot Ignacio to death on the porch of a residence. Francisco then went inside the residence but his seven-year old son tried to grab his father’s arm. Francisco then pushed his son out of the way and allegedly shot Maria to death in front of their son. Authorities determined that this crime was premeditated and Francisco was lying in wait to allegedly commit the crime. Francisco had also been stalking the victims prior to the crime. Francisco reportedly fled to Los Angeles where he has ties. He also has ties to Michoacan, Mexico. As of this posting, Francisco’s PC187 (murder) case in Kings County’s court records database is in open status with no filings since the charges were filed in 2018. This unfortunately confirms that he is still at large.
