Summary:

In the early morning hours of November 19, 2016, sixteen months after his daughter Crystal’s disappearance, Tommy was preparing for a hunting trip with his 12-year-old grandson on family property in Bardstown, next to the Bluegrass Parkway. Under cover of darkness, an unknown subject fired one shot that hit Tommy in the chest and instantly killed him. Tommy was only 54 years old.

After more than a year of searching for his daughter Crystal Rogers (who is still missing), her father Tommy Ballard, 54, was also killed under mysterious circumstances. Tommy was shot and killed while hunting with his grandson Nov. 19, 2016, just days before Thanksgiving.

Additional Details:

The FBI did confirm they are actively working leads and tips on Ballard's case and are also the 'lead' investigating agency on the Crystal Rogers' case - Ballard's daughter. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the homicide of Tommy Ballard.
